I chose this picture because for me it represents tha island were Odisseus was cautive. Even thought the island might be beutiful it was a prison for him. In the island he felt lonely and sick because he wished to go back home with her wife and son. in one side is the lightness representing the good and the darkness is representing the bad.
I chose this picture bucause for me it represents when Zeus got mad with Odysseus and his men. Odysseus' men ate the poseidom's sheep and goats and other animals. Poseidom got real mad and told Zeus to do something about it . Zeus in a big fury made and send tenderbolts to sank the ship of Odysseus afortunatly he could survive.
For me this picture represents when when Odysseus and his men got to the cyclop's island. Odysseus and his men when inside the house of the cyclop and because of Odysseus' curiosity the the cyclop found them and even eate some of his men. Odysseus in oder to get out of the cave of the cyclop had to hurt him, Odysseus poke the cyclop's eye. Poseidom got very mad at Odysseus because he hurt his son the cyclop.
For me this picture representes Odysseus' palace. I think a palace is like a marbellus place, or an imaginary place like in farrytales. I think for Odysseus to be at his home or palace will be like been in heaven. I think his palace is magic like this one in here.

ESL Journal: Think about Odysseus, What do you think he thinks about before going to sleep??
I think that before going to bed Odysseus, first of all he thought that it was very nice to be back home with his wife, son, at his palace and city, but the most important thing that I think Odysseus thought of, was in the revenge of the suitor's families when they heard what Odysseus had done to the suitors. Also I think that he thought where was he going to scape and for where to go and what to do. These is what I think.
ZEUS
Zeus is the god I chose to talk about because of the gods Mrs. Medina wanted us to chose, I think Zeus is the god that I know more things about. I know that Zeus is the supreme god in the Olympus. Zues uses his tenderbolts to protect him and the gods in the Olympus and also as a warning for those that era on earth. Zeus is the supreme authority on earth and on Mount Olympus. Zeus's brothers are Poseidom and Hades they divided the creation, Poseidom was in charch of the sea (god of the sea), Hades was in charge of underworld (god of the death) and Zeus was incharged of the sky and earth. Zues have a doughter Athena (god of war) and his son Hermes (the messanger of the gods); This is what the book said even thought in the web page of the gods that Mrs. Medina gave us saids very different things. These are just some of the lots of things that I know about Zeus.
